Precision $1600 Trade Recommendation
Today’s star chart of the day was the RT Playbook for Crude Oil, which we provided members just before 8:00am CT this morning (seen below).
For those of you not familiar with our Premium Playbooks, I provide trade recommendations directly onto the chart similar to a coach drawing up a play for athletes. Instead, I draw up plays for traders.
While simple, these powerful lines reveal important information in the charts, including key pivots, primary and secondary trade recommendations, and forecasted targets.
In the chart above, I identify 49.42 as the key pivot in the chart, as indicated by the horizontal line pointing to 49.42. I then draw up the primary trade idea, which is to fade a test of 49.42 for a shot at two targets – a primary at 47.75, and a secondary at 47.09.
As you can see from the chart below, Crude Oil traded right into our sell level of 49.42, went just four ticks beyond the level, and then proceeded to sell off 1.67 precisely into our primary target for the day at 47.75, which amounts to a move worth $1670 per contract traded.
That’s a move of 1.67 with just 4 ticks of max adverse excursion! It’s just hard not to love the simplicity in this approach to trade recommendations…not to mention the accuracy!
