The ES, NQ, and YM are starting the week modestly higher after last week’s heavy selling pressure. Given the overall bearish trend of the market, bears will be looking to defend into strength for another round of weakness ahead. Since last week’s had a super high-range week, we may see early range-bound action, with a downward bias, to begin the week. Watch yHI in the YM. Crude Oil bulls need to keep price above 80 for another move higher within the uptrending channel. Gold is seeing early weakness this week, but remains within a narrow range at highs, which could fuel the next rally into 2480.
